Coggon Harvest Home is our town's annual community celebration. This family-friendly event began in 1890 and is one of the longest continuously running town celebrations in the state of Iowa. Sponsored by the Coggon Harvest Home Committee and the Coggon Lions Club, it provides a place for area residents to gather and celebrate our town with activities for all ages, including live music, food, games, parade, a 5K run/walk, car show and cruise, talent show, wine tasting and a beer garden. Harvest Home is also an opportunity for local clubs and organizations to raise money to further their work and to support community improvement projects. Harvest Home begins on Friday evening and runs through Sunday afternoon.
